How to buy

Catalogue numbers make everything quicker. Quote one and I will know exactly which piece you mean.

There is no cart and no checkout here — antiques are one-offs, and half the point is the conversation before you buy.

The process

  1. 01
Quote the catalogue number. Every piece has one — it is the quickest way to be sure we are talking about the same object.
  2. 02
I confirm and answer questions. Condition, dimensions, more photographs, provenance — ask for whatever you need before deciding.
  3. 03
Payment and delivery. Bank transfer or card. Collect from Frome, or I pack and post worldwide at cost, quoted first.

Do you post?
Yes. I pack glass and ceramics myself, double-boxed with the corners protected, and post worldwide at cost. Mirrors and furniture usually travel by pallet or specialist courier — I always quote before you commit to anything.
Can you hold a piece while I decide?
Happy to hold for 48 hours with no deposit. Longer holds can be arranged with a small deposit, which comes off the price if you go ahead.
What if it isn't right when it arrives?
Return it within 14 days in the condition it arrived and I refund the piece in full. Return carriage is yours. Anything damaged in transit is on me — I insure every parcel.
Will you look for something for me?
That is most of what I do. Tell me the period, maker or material and roughly what you would like to spend, and I will email when the right piece turns up. No charge, no obligation.
