A deep gilt frame around a convex plate, crowned with a spread eagle and hung with the original gilt ball drops. Convex glass throws light around a room in a way flat mirrors simply do not.

The gilding is worn at the crest and the drops have been restrung at some point in their life. There are no cracks to the frame, and the plate is clear apart from one small blemish at four o'clock.
