A small animalier bronze of a hare at full stretch, with a dark brown patina that has thinned to a warm olive across the ears and haunches where hands have touched it.

It is unmarked rather than signed, though the casting is crisp and clearly French. Mounted on its original marble plinth, which has one small chip to the rear corner.
