A matched pair in deep amethyst that goes almost ruby where the glass thickens at the base.

Hand-blown, so not truly identical — one stands roughly five millimetres taller than the other, which is exactly what you want to see in glass of this date.
Both vases are free of chips and cracks. The polished pontil marks are visible underneath, and the colour is deepest at the foot where the glass gathers.
